I haven't written a journal since August 11th of last year. And that's weird. So. Here's this thing.

I also haven't been on here that much. I've checked in every now and then, but I haven't really done anything. The truth is that for almost a year now I just haven't felt like drawing anything - sorry to those that I owe drawings to, I'm not sure if I'll ever finish them :C - I think I only have a few "finished" things, and maybe I'll scan them at some point, but for the most part I don't have anything. My computer still sucks for digital drawing, I still have no working tablet, and the only thing that might get me even a little bit motivated is probably an art class, which I don't have this semester. Every time I do start something I don't get very far or they just don't look like how I feel that my drawings should. It's been kind of a bad year for me really, for multiple reasons, and that seems to have taken a toll. So, sorry about that. My journals are never this dull either, at least I hope not. Sorry about that also.

I'll lighten it up with a weird dream I had a while ago.

In my dream I was a cowgirl who drove a pink convertible car and solved crime. My dream started with me arriving at a giant factory that was super colorful and also super creepy. I had to break in and drive my convertible through all these crazy traps to get to the heart of the place where they were taking all these different colorful things made out of wheat and wheat byproducts, melting them in a big machine, and printing out posters and paintings. If you're familiar with Welcome to Night Vale, you can understand why I was sent there to investigate and arrest the people running the company. Because, you know, wheat and wheat byproducts are illegal. Anyways, I guess I arrested them successfully because my dream ended with me standing triumphantly on a hill next to my convertible. So yeah.

I guess that's how this journal is going to be.

Also, no Teen Wolf theme today.

So I went over to my grandparents' house today to vacuum up all of their crazily shedding dog's crazy hair so that their house could be nice and clean for when they have guests tomorrow. Now, I believe I've mentioned my grandmother before. She's awesome. I'm moving into an apartment for school and she bought my friend and I this sweeto light ball thing that projects colors onto the ceiling, definitely excited about that.
But yeah, in the typical fashion of grandmas, the first thing she said to me when I got there was "do you want some food?" and I was like "no thanks" because I was just at ahtnamaseed' going away party and I was definitely not needing any food. Normally she would insist more, but she had to leave pretty shortly after I got there. So I vacuumed the house and then my grandpa asked me if I wanted food. And once again, I was like "no thanks" but that meant nothing, because I was given some pizza anyways.
Turns out, my grandpa wanted to make me have to stay so he could talk with me about the realities of being a student in college. Basically, I was informed never to ride a motorcycle with anyone, that alcohol isn't a bad thing as long as you learn your limits, and that I also should not date until I'm 25 because boys are boys and apparently 25 is when they are less stupid.

ohhh grandparents. I love you guys.

In other news, I stayed at my friend's house last night and slept on a couch (my spine is sad) and I had the weirdest dreams. My dreams are generally pretty all over the place, very few times is there like a whole long dream that goes together, but they're especially weird when I'm not in my own bed. For instance, one part of my dream was me sitting in the back seat of a car with an old woman trying to figure out how to get somewhere and I was just like eating lipstick. I don't understand that at all. But also, I remembered about an hour ago that another part of my dream was actually pretty cool and could maybe be a story or something if I think on it more. It was kind of like a mix between Repo! The Genetic Opera (which we had just watched) and Pushing Daisies and like, cops shows.

I am so tired right now, which feels wrong because it's only midnight.

QUESTION.

Do my drawings looked stretched on your computers?

I just got a new laptop today and I knew that my other one's screen was stretched a little bit since I had to buy a new operating system that messed it up sort of, but I noticed that, on here, they look insanely squished and I'm not okay with that!!

Please tell me! If they are, I will fix it asap because it's freaking me out!

Good news though, I got a new laptop! Hoorayyy!! It's big and shiny and nice and I love it so much that I named it Stiles after a character from Teen Wolf, aww yeah.

footerrrr. :stare:

Apparently Free Premium Membership Day won't allow me to change my username like I wanted to, though I was allowed to get this really awesome journal skin so I am okay.

But seriously guys, I love Teen Wolf.

This footer thing is bothering me.

Okay.
So I'm dog/house sitting again. I don't know why I do this. Every single time I think "oh, psh, it won't be so bad" but also every single time it is so bad. It really is.

The dogs have an electric fence, so they can go play outside. Apparently there is some way for them to get out, whether it's just dealing with the shock of the fence or an open spot I have no idea, but my aunt told me that they get out sometimes. Usually when I'm here I take them outside on their leashes, but I let them out for about an hour to run around before I give them their dinner and I don't have any problem. I stay outside with them so I can keep an eye on them in case they do try to escape.

So yeah, I let them outside and they're running around, jumping across the creek, running around some more, jumping back across the creek. And then they both jumped into the creek and started to play-fight. Now, the creek is really gross. It's not some pretty, clear watered creek, it's kind of a smelly, swamp watered creek. And they just kept jumping around and getting themselves all covered in gross water and mud, so I called them out. One of the dogs listens, the other does not listen at all. So I got one dog out, dried her off (fortunately she there was very little mud,) and took her back inside.

But by the time I had gotten back outside, I had no idea where the other dog was. There's all this tall grass and stuff at the edges and I couldn't see her at all. So I just kept looking for a few minutes until I see her, just like hiding in the tall grass, standing in the water. And she wouldn't listen to me calling her so I took a few steps out so I could grab her collar.

Basically, the ground was not as solid as I had anticipated and I lost my shoe in about a 8 or 9 inches of creek mud dragging the dog out of the water. I got it back, with my hand, and it was disgusting and the dog was a mess and I was a mess and

I don't know what else to talk about now, I was just in a rage and needed to type it out.

hm.

OH
So I had a job interview yesterday! It went pretty well. I can't say it was the best job interview ever, I kind of embarrassed myself right off the bat, so that was nice, but I'm pretty sure I won't actually get the job anyways because I think they wanted someone who could lift heavier stuff XD

What else, what else.

Lifetime is having a pretty good movie marathon?

yeah.

Okay.

I guess that's all.
